Our juried show, October 3-29, will hang at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture. The show is open this year to all watercolor artists, as we are able to accept shipped work. Jean Pederson ( our juror, is also teaching at our workshop October 18-20 at the same location.

Jean has been painting for over 20 years, balancing her strong teaching abilities and writing with her continuing aspiration to convey her ideas in visual form. She has work placed in the Royal Collection in Windsor, England, and has been honored with numerous national and international awards over the years. In 2005, Jean was the first recipient of the Federation of Canadian Artists Early Achievement Award, granted for her many honors, awards, international writing to promote art education and for consistent, exceptional painting. Jean has exhibited her work internationally in London, Stockholm, New York at the United Nations, San Francisco, and in China, Mexico and Canada.
